VENDOTEK vending terminals, which accept cashless payments from cards and mobile devices, have been tested for durability and vandal resistance. Confirmed compliance with GOST 30630.1.10-2013 codes IK07, IK08. POS-terminals for vending machines manufactured in Zelenograd, withstand without damage the fall of a load weighing 1.7 kg from a height of 29.5 cm.

All serial vending terminals of Terminal Technologies group have vandal-proof protection, including shock-resistant glass and reinforced screen mounting. Protective glass thickness of 1.8 mm is designed specifically for VENDOTEK on the basis of Japanese technology.

Russian Standard Bank and Terminal Technologies Group have developed and implemented a QR-code payment system through the Russian Fast Payment System (SBP) on vending machines equipped with VENDOTEK POS terminals. Payment by QR codes via the SBP reduces acquiring costs due to the low rates set by the Bank of Russia.

Payment for the purchase is very simple: the consumer enters the product number on the vending machine, then selects the payment method on the terminal screen – via the SBP, scans the dynamic QR code from the VENDOTEK screen with their mobile phone, and then the mobile Bank receives an instant response with payment confirmation. The payer's Bank must be a member of the SBP and support payment using QR codes in its own app.

A special feature of the implemented solution is the ability to add payment by QR code via the SBP to any VENDOTEK terminal (regardless of which Bank is the acquirer for Bank card transactions). Thus, transactions on Bank cards can go through one Bank, and operations on SBP - through the Russian Standard Bank.

Valitek validators developed by Terminal Technologies have been implemented in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan) buses. Now passengers of buses No. 20 can pay for tickets using a contactless Bank card.

Until the end of 2019, the fare will be 45 tenge for passengers who pay with Visa cards. Implementation of the solution for accepting MasterCard cards is expected in 2020.

The project is running in pilot mode. After pilot testing, it is planned to extend this system to all buses in the city of Nursultan. Preprocessing is performed by BPC.
